Yarrow: “Terra Cotta"


It was worth the wait...our third of three yarrows (the others are a red Paprika and yellow Moonshine) has just burst into bloom in our front garden and it is a beauty to look at. It's also by far the tallest of the shrubs, coming in at about 3 1/2 feet high, a good six inches above the other two.


There is literally nothing like July to immerse yourself in the abundance of color in the garden, and no greater time to be grateful for drought tolerant plants like these that give and give and give (not just to us but to the pollinators), without demanding a thing in return.
