I have a special place in my heart for sweet potato pie, as it was the first kind I ever made for my husband after he immigrated to the US from Australia. When midway through making one I realized I didn't have enough sweet potato? I mixed in a little leftover roast pumpkin and...voila! As a bonus, I shaped the leftover bits of crust for a little loving decor ❤️
