Sage: “Berggarten"

Probably the easiest of all the herbs to grow and one I hardly use outside of certain holiday dishes, the big beautiful leaves of the Berggarten sage add such great texture to the garden no matter how much its used, and is one of the few evergreen additions to the herb garden. While it did not bloom this year - one of my favorite perks of this herb - it's grown beautifully in size and has been a constant in my drought-tolerant garden where the soil quality we arrived to has been unpredictable at best.

"As is the garden such is the gardener. A man's nature runs either to herbs or weeds." ~ Francis Bacon
