When we moved back to the city, there were two aging rhodies crowding out the front door. The original planter of them clearly didn't think ahead! So when we had two ugly windmill palms removed (sorry, they don't belong in the PNW), we replaced it with these shallow-rooted rhodies. Having moved here in the fall, we had no idea what color they'd be - what fun it was to see this pale lavender blooming in the spring!
