Penstemon: "Red Riding Hood"

I love our dark purple Penstemon so much that this year I decided to add another color to our front yarden. Thus far it's done very well - although appears slower growing - and has so far not attracted the pests that our larger purple one did last year (which I thought had killed it, but it fortunately responded to my severe prune-to-revive tactic). This one's only about 18" while the other is over 3', but seems like it has promise...
