Taking on some of the smallest of bugs in the garden is the common Orbweaver spider here in Washington state. My husband is getting into the 'bug ID' thing to help me out here in blogland and we spotted this tubby looking one on the bottom of the fence near the duck house, perfectly situated to snack on local little bugs. Not the clearest photo but you can see its little thin stripey legs compared to it's big ol' belly, so I wasn't able to specify the varity of orbweaver, but still kinda cool to see what's out there...
