When I bought my first home in the city, the front yard was all grass and a dilapidated white picket fence. Thirteen years later, when we sold it to move out to the farm, this is how it looked. Tons of birds, bees and other city wildlife, beautiful smells and sights, and a happy place to work as I transitioned to owning my own business halfway into it. Still makes me happy to look at. (Sadly, the new owners destroyed much of this, then rented it out)
