As most gardeners know, wherever you grow potatoes is where you will always grow them - whether you like it or not! So this past year I tried out the old growing-in-a-coffee-sack method, and they definitely grew! Not enough for my potato-obsessed husband, but definitely thriving. One tip? Don't think you're going to be able to move them around. Burlap coffee sacks are biodegradable, so after enough watering, the bases will fail. Ask me know I know...
