To better utilize the sun in our yard for growing pretty things AND give our ducks a cooler-in-summer place to sleep, we took advantage of the unused space behind our garden shed and riffed off an idea found here on Pinterest to create a lean-to style duck house. They get more room, it doesn't get as mucky, and it's so much cooler in summertime!
