While so many of us think of lupines in pink and purple and red tones, as have I, it was a surprise to discover this pale lemon yellow one at the nursery, so I decided to give it a shot over in our fruit forest, adding to the understory and bringing a little sunshine in the form of lupine, as well as attracting butterflies and bumblebees and the like.
