Third of our three different lobelias, the 'Tall Purple' variety is definitely that. Being a perfect flower for 'wet feet' areas, I planted it against the east side of our house where it gets the morning sun, and embraces the damp soil that is a result of the subtle downhill slope from the back edge of our property. Initially I'd planted two of these but a certain duck walked through the space when these were about a foot tall...so fortunately this one has grown multiple branches in quick order!
