After falling in love with Leonotus "Lion's Tail", a South African native flowering shrub, back at my first home, I've grown it successfully for one season then watched it completely die. This time, I've learned my lesson and potted it so that I can bring it in over winter and let it continue to grow and become even more glorious next year. But for now, it's loving its first week in bloom in the late summer heat. Woo hoo!
