Hollyhock: “Double Red”

I'd always heard of hollyhocks but never knew how gorgeous they were until we moved to the farm and I planted three of them against the hothouse, paying homage to their 'outhouse hollyhock' nickname. They were so captivating that when we moved here, I knew I needed to find these again. this time I got the deep red, and they have not disappointed. Ove 5' tall and blooming like crazy since late June, these are a gorgeous addition to the garden, and so lovely to have planted right outside our dining room window.
