Hardy Fuschia: “Flash"

While some fuschias are purely for shade and wither in the bright sun, when I planted fuschias in this unique corner of our garden, I wanted to make sure they could take both the morning sun and the crazy 'band of sunshine' from between our house and the neighbor's, one that would hit it in the late afternoons with some serious heat (serious for our neck of the woods, at least) before returning to the dappled shade it's in the majority of the day. This "Flash" variety of fuschia is one that is expected to get up to 4' tall, and it's definitely more than halfway there with it's red and pink action brightening up the area.

Our ducks have taken to napping near it at times, leading to some of its delicate branches being far closer to the ground than I'd prefer, but hey, it isn't called a Hardy fuschia for nothing, folks...
