What a bright bit of sunshine in our backyard garden! After the nearby shrubs finished flowering and went into traditional green mode, to see the Goldenrod burst forth into so many flowers seemingly all at once was a really cool thing, in particular with this surprise deluge and chillier couple of days that passed through our neck of the woods. This is only two feet tall right now but is supposed to eventually double in height, and is supposed to attract butterflies, but unless you include moths, thus far I'm still waiting - but hey, the hummingbirds are kind of the boss of me right now, so I'll have to refocus....
