One of my very favorite varieties of garlic is the Chesnok. Maybe just because they're so gorgeous! When we lived on the farm, my neighbor and I went to a garden fair and met a farmer from Clatskanie who grew a zillion different varieties, and so along with the Chesnok I grew Mt Hood and two other kinds, the first two which produced the biggest bulbs! Every year I save a few heads and plant the bulbs and every year its a reward.
