While I cannot recommend anyone visit the local Bonsai Museum in my neck of the woods due to the facility's complete disinterest in keeping drones off the property (which made it a truly dreadful experience, particularly when the owners refused to take it down after directly filming above us for a significant time, a horribly traumatizing moment), I will say this: there is definitely inspiration to be had in the art of bonsai. While I personally don't care for how some bonsai professionals use wires, the amazing ways in which trees can be shaped and preserved over the generations is something pretty tremendous to see. My husband is a big fan of bonsai, and it was lovely to see his joy in viewing these species.
