When the sun is setting and you can no longer see the flowers, but can still smell the sweetness of the night-flowering tobacco, it's good to just breathe in what is left in the day as it comes to a close.
I've always been a fan of taking the same shot over and over on different days and seeing how the skies change, what I notice and what I don't. Lift the lens up a touch and you don't see the occasional car drive by on a street much busier than where you've ever lived in the past...lift the lens up and you'll see what's watching over us every day and every night. You'll see what we desperately must protect to keep breathing, to keep our communities, throughout the animal kingdom, througout nature...alive.
"There’s a whole world out there, right outside your window. You’d be a fool to miss it." ~ Charlotte Eriksson
Plus all those bees and other insects we have attracted. I love playing bug detective!
