I wish I could tell you the variety of this English lavender, but it came with the house, so while I think it might be Hidcote, I can't be sure because it is SO big - about 3' tall and wide. It's the last of our lavenders to start blooming and has doubled in size since I pruned it back last fall! But boy oh boy, talk about a statement shrub, perfect for our drought-tolerant garden in front and the inspiration for planting four other lavenders along that side of the driveway!!
