The girls absolutely loved life on the farm. While they joined us as one day olds in the city, they definitely spread their collective wings when we got out to the farm, first in the garden and then commandeering everywhere from the front yard to down by the creek to the blackberry bushes in the back of the property (where Betty loved to hide out). After Ethel passed, Lucy, the girl in front, was her replacement, a gift from our neighbor who had a ton, so she's with us now as well.
