The dahlias are just beginning to show off their splendor in the garden, but the mystery behind which ones decide to grow still remains. Last spring, I'd planted twelve different varieties. Two came up. This year, two more are about a foot out of the ground but with no buds yet. Never had any issues with them in the past, so it's a mystery...but in the meantime, we celebrate what there IS in the garden...and this yellow girl is happy to oblige...
