Cistus Rockrose: "Purple-Flowered"

I know, it looks pink to me too! But they call it a purple-colored rockrose, and being this gorgeous, it can call itself whatever it wants. I especially love that it's both hardy through cold weather AND drought-tolerant, so I can use the water from our rain tanks on the veggies instead. It grows fast as well, and is always an interesting thing to watch because it doesn't flower all at once. Some of the flowers drop almost immediately, but every day it seems you're looking at random flowers in different locations. Kinda cool.
