A year after planting it, our "Profusion" Beautyberry shrub is thriving, doubled in size and visually a vast improvement over the rather scraggly vibe it gave off when I first popped it into the ground. It's utterly low maintenance too!
Like I mentioned with our Tasmanian mountain pepper in my last post, it's sooooo nice to have color remain in the garden long after the other flowers have kicked the bucket for the year. I really focused on bringing more plants with multi-season interest into the garden here in the Valley, after noticing how insanely drab things looked over our first winter.
