More cornflowers, more blue in the garden. The quintessential bachelor's button variety 'Florist Blue Boy' has come up and greeted us in our backyard garden along the path to the back gate and we couldn't be happier. Did you know these are edible flowers as well, used in everything from salads to cake decorations? Pretty cool. But honestly I'm cool with them just waving in the soft summer breeze, and being thankful AF that we've not had to endure the heat dome like much of the country has this year. Wheeee!
