One of my favorite - and simplest - breakfasts to make when my husband and I get to have lazy mornings together is making each of us an Apple Souffle Pancake. Easier than it might sound, it's merely a matter of getting out two cast iron skillets, sauteing a sliced up apple (I prefer Grannies...) in butter, lemon juice and cinnamon, then pouring the batter atop it before popping it in a VERY hot oven (500F) for eight or nine minutes. Just a wee drizzle of good organic maple syrup and you're set.
My only precaution? Wait five minutes before digging in otherwise it'll be hot AF on your taste buds!
